Labyrinthos (X:16.7, Y:28.3)
Her Children, One and All
Deep in the heart of Labyrinthos lies its secret among secrets─the device through which the Sharlayans have peered into the aetherial sea to learn Hydaelyn's secrets. With their bargain with the Forum fulfilled, the Scions of the Seventh Dawn are poised to journey to the Aitiascope and beyond to beg Her aid, but no depths are without their darkness...
In the encounter with Aglaea, the boss, there are a series of abilities that players must be aware of. Aglaea Bite is a powerful attack specifically targeting the tank. Frustration is an area of effect attack that affects the entire room. Odi Et Amo involves the spawning of two circle AoEs under two party members, followed by a stack marker appearing on one of the party members, requiring the group to stack after moving away from the circles. Disparagement is a conal AoE attack that occurs in the direction of the stack marker target after the stack damage, forcing the group to move out of the cone. Aglaea Climb is signaled by the boss spreading its arms, with two of the four arms glowing and then attacking in their respective directions. Players must stand in the quadrant of one of the two arms that is not glowing. Aglaea Shot involves the boss firing 8 line AoEs to the cardinal and intercardinal points of the arena, with safe zones between each line. After reaching the edge of the platform, the crystals pause for about 10 seconds before firing back to the center. The telegraphs for the crystals returning are very short. It is possible for the second cast of Aglaea Shot to occur during an Aglaea Climb, requiring players to dodge the arms while also paying attention to the crystal locations.
The boss has several abilities in this fight. "Anvil of Tartarus" is a tank buster, while "Tartarean Impact" is a room-wide AOE attack. "Tartarean Spark" targets a random player with a line AOE. "Shrapnel Shell" fires mortar shots into the air, creating targeting circles that move towards the corners of the room and spawn additional markers, filling that quadrant. "Vexillatio" marks the outer thirds of the arena with AOE markers, summoning walls to restrict movement. Players hit by this are knocked back and receive a Vulnerability Up debuff. "Shield Skewer" involves the boss absorbing Aether from crystals along the walls. When a crystal is drained, it shatters. After the cast is finished, the boss charges down the lane, dealing knockback, Vulnerability Up debuffs, and heavy damage. Players need to pay attention to which crystal depletes first and move into open space to avoid damage.
During the fight with Amon the Undying, players will encounter various mechanics. Dark Forte is a tank buster attack. Entr'acte is a room-wide AOE attack. Eruption Forte places two circle AoEs under random players, which explode after a short time. It is recommended to delay using a Limit Break until after this move to prevent the immobilized party member from being sniped. Thundaga Forte spawns a proximity-based AoE in the middle of the room, causing players to run to the edges of the room. The room is then divided into eight sections, with lightning filling four sections quickly and four sections slowly, alternating around the circle. Players should move into a section where the electricity is moving slowly, then move into one of the fast sections on either side once that section has exploded to avoid the slow explosion. Strophe summons one or more circular discs from the ground, followed by Amon casting Antistrophe. During Antistrophe, the boss raises the circular disc(s) up on their edge and fires a column AoE outward from both faces of the raised disc(s). Left/Right Firaga Forte is when the boss cleaves its entire left or right side with a fire AoE, so players should move to the opposite side of the arena to avoid it. It's important to note that the boss's left and right refer to its perspective, not the players'. Curtain Call is a long cast where two circular AoEs similar to Eruption Forte will spawn in succession. Shiva will then summon a huge ice crystal in the middle of the room, and players must hide behind it to avoid the attack. Any player not behind the ice crystal will be instantly killed. The fight will continue with these mechanics until the boss is defeated.
